Close to the South West Coastal Path, The Annex is a great base from which to get out and explore the North Devon coastline, the rugged cliffs, the surfing beaches, the little coves and fishing harbours. There are art and craft galleries, quaint little shops and cafes, cosy country pubs and fabulous fine dining.

The Annex is well equipped and has everything you might need for a special weekend get-away. Outside there is a private hot tub, large barbecue, tennis court, table tennis and an outdoor pool (heated Easter - October) which is shared with the neighbouring property. Inside there is a wonderful double aspect lounge with big doors out into the garden and a log-burner fire, games and jigsaws for cooler evenings or winter breaks; a kitchen-diner with double oven and dishwasher and a huge, super-comfortable super-king-size bed with fabulous bath and wet-room downstairs (couples may never need to venture upstairs to discover the family bedroom and second bathroom up there unless they want to sit on the window seat and admire the view!)

For an even better "wow" on arrival and to really impress your lover, you can ask for some special fizz to be chilled and waiting for you on your arrival (see extras) The owners also will scatter rose petals and put out extra candles for Valentine's Day or a special romantic treat if asked in advance.
