Winter Break: luxury North Devon self-catering
With underfloor heating (and a few radiators) these luxury properties are warm and comfortable throughout the year and guests can enjoy bracing walks along the cliffs or a chilly surfing lesson before retreating to snuggle up by the open fire or jump into the hot tub to warm up.
The coastline is quite wild and rugged in North Devon but particularly magical when winter waves crash into the coast with extra ferocity. A family favourite spot is Hartland Quay which is practically compulsory on a stormy day and the site of many wrecked ships over the centuries.
