A holiday rental property with a private hot tub is perfect if you want a luxurious, relaxing treat. A private hot tub with a fantastic view of the setting sun or a dark night full of stars and very little light pollution is even better! Both these properties, Southclay (sleeps 10-12) and The Annex (sleeps 4-6 but is often also let to couples for a romantic break), enjoy fantastic facilities. The private hot tub may be first on a visitor's list but they can also enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis shared between the two properties and of course a share of the panoramic view of the North Devon coast.

Rated by VisitEngland as 5 star, visitors will enjoy panoramic views and spectacular sunsets over the North Devon coast to Lundy Island from nearly every room or from the hot tub in the garden!

The hot tubs are heated throughout the year. Always a good spot for a glass of something chilled and perfect as a meeting place to put the world to rights, catch up on the gossip, tell tall stories and renew friendships. Whatever the season it is a great place to watch the children play in the garden, to watch the sun go down, to relax and watch for shooting stars in clear, dark skies. Popular in the Summer to warm up after a chilly dip in the sea or a surfing lesson. Polular in the Winter to sit out on a still evening, even surrounded by frost or snow. As long as you are brave enough to tiptoe from the back door to the hot tub (only a few steps), the plunge under, the warm water is heavenly and an evening hot tub gives a great dose of sea-air before bed - it will certainly make you relax quickly and sleep deeply.

Both these properties are comfortable and well equipped. Although they have private hot tubs and thier own garden/barbecue space, they share a tennis court; heated swimming pool (April-October) and table tennis… All our guests agree the location and facilities are outstanding and perfect for a relaxing break throughout the year, Summer or Winter.

You will find the A39 Atlantic Highway is very easily accessible making this an incredibly convenient base for exploring the numerous rocky shores or the famous sandy surfing beaches, the beautiful countryside of rural North Devon and North Cornwall and all the country pubs in between. Enjoy quaint harbours, local visitor attractions or the coastal footpaths and cycle tracks. On the edge of Abbotsham, a delightful Devon village, only 5 minutes walk to the thatched pub, church, village playing fields and a popular tourist attraction at the bottom of the hill, you may, however, decide not to get back in the car for the whole holiday!

    The Annexe is a five-star cottage that sleeps up to ten people, with four bedrooms and exclusive use of a hot tub, swimming pool, table tennis table & cinema/games room. It also has shared use of a tennis court with the owners (though they rarely use it!). Part of a charming 17th-century Devon longhouse, The Annexe boasts thick stone walls, a slate roof and a rose growing over the doorway. The property is located at the edge of a friendly village, overlooking the beautiful North Devon coastline, and is the perfect holiday location for families, friends and couples alike.
